Nutastic or a blow for monkey butter?

The results are in for yesterdays offering:

And the comments:

"slightly too nutty/may not need nuts on top but very nice"

"too nutty but very good"

"dense but satisfying"

"my 1st peanut butter cake! Wow!"

"jolly nice sweet"

"very sweet with nice crunch"

"jolly nice"

"cake very moist but flavours not too my taste"

So perhaps I went a bit nuts with the nuts. I plead guilty m'lud and would like my self-enforced sobriety to be taken into consideration.

Eagle-eyed chart lovers might have spotted that cheeky 7 in the ratings. It's not a mistake, it's a genuine score. Normally, it would have made my week. Don't get me wrong - I'm chuffed to mintballs with it. But this has eclipsed it slightly:

Like totes amazeballs...

Mixed results... peanut butter is an acquired taste! I only like it with chocolate :)

Yep, peanut butter does divide people but believe me, if you like it, this is the cake for you. When you say with chocolate, do you spread it on a bar of choc??

As ever Table, you have put in a nutshell so to speak. There would be money in them there hills should 3D images of Beckham in his knickers ever become available...
